CCPA offers a range of event days, institutes, and camps that are designed for high school and college-aged students, current CCPA students, and post-grad musicians. These start up soon in June! View summer programs.

Fall 2026 Incoming CCPA Students: What To Know

CCPA’s New Student Orientation begins with Move-In Day, Thursday, August 27^th

• New students entering Fall 2026 are required to attend. Orientation activities and requirements continue through Sunday, August 30^th
• Move-in appointments to both the Wabash Building and University Center will take place between 8am and 4pm (assigned by RU Housing & Residence Life, later in summer)
• CCPA Enrollment will be hosting a ‘Welcome Hub’ throughout the day, welcoming students, parents, and families Thursday, August 27^th
• The day culminates in an evening ‘All New Student Welcoming’ Meeting as well as a ‘New CCPA Parent & Guardian’ Welcoming Meeting (time TBD, likely between 5:30pm and 8pm)

Join CCPA’s virtual, college-specific Ready, Set, Roosevelt session on Tuesday, June 16^th

• 5:30pm – 6:30pm Central Time, via Zoom
• Meet your CCPA Dean and leadership team
• Learn what to expect in your program, and get your questions answered
• Connect with fellow incoming students!

Important dates and information

• The priority deadline for RU on-campus housing is Friday, May 29^th at 12pm. It is highly recommended you submit your housing deposit and full housing application before then! There is no guarantee of room selection and preference for late-housing-applications.
• CCPA Enrollment does not run or maintain residence life requests or needs. Please contact RU Housing & Residence Life directly.
• All incoming CCPA student must access and use their RU student email for communications with Housing, as well as CCPA Advising (class selection and registration).
• If you haven’t already, please refer to the New Student Checklist sent to you by your CCPA Enrollment rep for instructions on how to set up your Roosevelt inbox! You will first need to activate your RU NetID if you have not done so. You can visit my.roosevelt.edu to activate your NetID, and to access your email account.
