About Me
Dr. Amanda (Bartosik) Shah is currently an Associate Professor of Clinical Sciences at 老王论坛 College of Health, Science, and Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacist. Dr. Shah received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2018 and completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital in 2019. She is also Board Certified as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS). Dr. Shah currently teaches in the Integrated Sequence courses of the Doctor of Pharmacy program at Roosevelt. She is also certified Basic Life Support (BLS) instructor
In her clinical practice, Dr. Shah serves as an inpatient clinical pharmacist specializing in general medicine. She works closely with the interdisciplinary medical team that includes students, residents and attending physicians to optimize her patients' medication therapy while bridging the gap from inpatient to outpatient. As part of her practice in both the college and hospital, she takes Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) students during their clinical rotations to gain experience in the inpatient hospital setting. Additionally, she is involved in research with pharmacy students and residents as well as physicians to improve clinical outcomes among the general medicine population.
Dr. Shah was awarded the Faculty Preceptor of the Year in 2025. Her clinical interests include internal medicine, infectious diseases, and cardiometabolic diseases. Her academic interests include clinical application of topics through team-based learning and residency preparedness.
